HoPE in the local news!

The Finnish newspaper Vasabladet wrote an article on the HoPE-project receiving Kone-funding. The text is in Swedish and at the moment only open for subscribers (open version will be added later after embargo). The newspaper is active in the Vaasa region, one of the areas in which the Puutalo houses were manufactured in the post-war years. The Kronvik sawmill about 10 kilometres outside Vaasa, for instance, participated both in producing the war reparations for the USSR as well as in the trade deal of houses exported to Colombia (in exchange for coffee!) in 1952. This of course makes the project interesting within the local historical context as well!
